secure miniblogs

so i’ve just got this miniblog, a slightly more involved one than my recently aquired microblog and i can’t believe that these two big name sites in the 2.0 game both use http logins. 

c’mon… SSL people! It’s cheap as chips these days.  There’s no excuse to compromise the secirity of your users logins. Lots of people on here probably use the same email and password for this site  as they do for their paypal account.
